A four-year-old Canadian boy named Sawyer lights up with joy when he hears voices of family members for the first time after getting a cochlear implant. His sweet, endearing reaction was captured on video and shared via TikTok. Sawyer has been hard of hearing since birth due to a genetic disorder called Pendred syndrome. "I have literally not seen him smile that big in his whole life," Sawyer's mother Christina Lenglin says in the video. It was a bittersweet moment for Sawyer’s family, who gave him high-fives and told him “I love you”, which he was able to hear for the very first time.
