Charlo Walterbach, a Mexico-born artist, initially worked as a graphic designer but yearned to create murals. After sharing his idea on the app Nextdoor, he got the opportunity to paint his first mural on a garage door, which was a turning point in his life. Charlo quickly gained recognition as a muralist and has since created over 50 murals, connecting with people through his art. His monochromatic murals feature intricate interconnected shapes with hidden messages. His recent exhibition, "The Gratitude of the Flowers," pays tribute to his mother's family name, Flores. His most meaningful mural is the one he painted for his family in Mexico, reflecting their strong bond despite the physical distance. Charlo's art continues to move and inspire people, and he is expected to make more significant contributions in the future.
