These days, when news organizations have become modern-day doom machines which showcase the worst of humanity without highlighting progress, healing or restoration, we often fail to see the stories of possibility, denying ourselves the opportunity to do better. This year, Future Crunch found over 2,000 of those stories of possibility -- of how millions of lives are improving, diseases are being eliminated, vast swathes of our planet are being protected and entire species have been saved, and shared them with tens of thousands of readers in a weekly email. They rounded up 400 of their favorites to create the final list of 66 shared here. It shows that - despite the headlines - we’ve made progress in so many ways and in so many places.
