The unique Mag Drive System Smart E-bike, developed by Hello Space of Japan, has magnets that boost pedal power as the bicycle recharges its battery so it can be ridden indefinitely without an external power source. The battery can even be used as an emergency power source. Future ideas include converting its kinetic energy into electricity and carbon credits, using the electricity to mine virtual currency, and making it part of green energy generation. In 2025, Hello Space aims to start developing a power generation and storage unit that can be attached to ordinary bicycles, a unit which can be installed on fitness bikes and used as a generator in emergencies or at events, and ones for electric scooters and electric motorbikes.
