This innovative AI technology analyzes facial expressions to help paramedics rapidly identify stroke symptoms, potentially saving lives and preventing long-term disabilities. "Early detection of stroke is critical, as prompt treatment can significantly enhance recovery outcomes," highlights Professor Dinesh Kumar, the lead researcher. Developed using the Facial Action Coding System, the tool boasts an 82% accuracy rate by evaluating facial symmetry and muscle movements.
