Olympic dreams are inspiring, but for Team USA discus thrower Veronica Fraley, they come with financial challenges as well. Just before her competition, Fraley shared her hardships on X, revealing, "I compete in the Olympic Games TOMORROW and can't even pay my rent." Enter Flavor Flav and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who teamed up to cover her rent for the entire year. "This is exactly why I have been in Paris," Flav said, shining a light on the tough realities athletes face. Fraley, a first-time Olympian and grad student, was disarmingly thrilled: "This makes every difference in the WORLD & I hope to represent Team USA well this week."
