Rock star Jon Bon Jovi talked a woman down from a ledge on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Nashville while filming a music video for his song “The People’s House”. In the video, a woman is seen over the ledge of the bridge with her arms wrapped around its railing. Bon Jovi and a production assistant walk along the bridge and greet the woman and then help her over the railing. He then hugs her. Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, founded the JBJ Soul Foundation, which helps people in times of crisis. In 2014, the bridge was named after Tennessean editor John Seigenthaler, who prevented a man from jumping off the bridge in the 1950s.
