Nurse Cindy Mullins' life was changed drastically after a routine kidney surgery led to a complication requiring doctors to partially amputate all four of her limbs. When businessman James Crocker, a total stranger who lives 1,000 miles away in Florida, heard of her plight, he drove to Kentucky with a plan - the Mullins Miracle. He led an effort with 300 volunteers to build her a new, accessible home in just 10 days. Stanford, Kentucky is a community of 3,700 that is committed to loving thy neighbor. Hundreds showed up to celebrate with Cindy and her family as she moved into her new home. “Love and God built this house,” she wrote on the door frame.
