A blind man tried to get on the London Underground at Kings Cross station. He was being assisted by Transport for London, but while getting on, the blind man tripped. A few people on the train then helped the gentleman find a seat. Once the man sat down, he realized he was missing a shoe; it had slipped between the platform and the train. Before the train left the platform, passengers tried to tell the driver, but unfortunately the train left the platform. The blind man got a bit panicked as he only had one shoe. A fellow passenger stepped up as a hero, when, without any hesitation, he took off his shoe and gave it to the blind man. He didn't want thanks or praise, he simply did it. It was a very cold day; the good Samaritan got out at Liverpool street to try and find himself a pair of shoes.
