Since March 24th, India has been under lockdown to prevent coronavirus transmission. "In a time of fear, anxiety and panic, we should spread love and care to those who are struggling," said Mahita Nagaraj, a digital marketer and mother of a 12-year-old. After friends overseas asked her to drop groceries for their aging parents, Nagaraj posted her offerings to help others on social media. Flooded with messages FROM people both looking to offer help and those living too far from their parents or grandparents to assist them, she started a Facebook group called Caremongers India on March 17th. In 24 hours, the group had thousands of members. Today, over 22,000 people across India are coordinating support for wide-ranging `member`s of their neighborhoods and communities.
