Husband and wife Beverly and Dick Perrin have been writing personal messages of gratitude to truckers and handing out 1,000 thank you cards at various truck stops in Ontario Canada this past year. Perrin's project started back in April, after she heard on the news about the conditions truckers were facing while trying to do their jobs in the pandemic, including long hours and having difficulty in finding a place to use the washroom. Through these wonderful acts of lovingkindness and compassion, the Perrin family is able to express their support and gratitude to various truckers impacted by the pandemic in hopes of lifting their spirits and reminding them that they are valued members of society and have not been forgotten.
