Some Montgomery County, Md., students have joined their teachers in an effort to ensure that residents most at risk during the coronavirus pandemic are able to secure their vaccinations. Two students, aged 16 and 17, started volunteering as vaccine hunters about a month ago; they joined a group in which their Spanish teacher participated. Both students said navigating the dozens of sites looking for vaccination appointments proved a challenge despite their computer skills, and they're happy to snag the appointments for others. Between the two students, they have logged about 215 appointments, and they say each appointment booked feels satisfying.
