Sometimes routine jobs take interesting turns. In Santa Cruz, Calif., two County Sheriff's deputies did more than a welfare check on an elderly resident, after receiving a concerned call from his neighbor. The resident hadn't been seen on his usual neighborhood walks. Upon arrival, they ended up making a grocery list and went shopping for him.
