Master falconer Rodney Stotts knows about working with those who have broken wings and don't trust others. When Earth Conservation Corps introduced him to falconry in the 1990s, it changed his life. Now he mentors young people who face the same life challenges he once did. By working with him and the raptors, they learn to trust others, just as the raptors learn trust by working with him. “I was a bird with the broken wing when he met me," says one who now works in law enforcement and has a family of his own.
