Amy Wolff became an accidental ambassador for hope after tragedy struck her home town of Newberg in Yamhill County Oregon. How this mother of two responded after a string of suicides occurred in her community in 2017 sparked a worldwide movement, and she's sharing her stories in a new book called Signs of Hope. Wolff started putting up yard signs with affirmations like, Don't give up, You matter, You are not alone and You are worthy of love. Wolff says this isn't a money-making venture, it's a labor of love. She sells everything at cost. Her signs are in 28 countries and all 50 states. Wolff offers people two pieces of advice for getting involved: 1. Get in proximity, because It's hard to hate people up close and 2. Listen to people's stories because it builds empathy.
