Glasgow, Scotland, is about to get much greener, thanks to an initiative launched by the Clyde Climate Forest. Over the next decade, the group plans to plant 10 trees per resident in hopes of increasing biodiversity with an urban forest. "New community woodlands, trees and forests will bring multiple benefits to our local communities, as well as wildlife. The pandemic has brought into focus like never before the value of local spaces as places to exercise, de-stress and engage with nature, and this project can help deliver the green recovery," Glasgow City Council leader Susan Aitken told Positive News.
