When a small Texas bakery made rainbow heart cookies to support Pride Month, it let its customers know via a cheery Facebook post. But the next day it received a hateful message, lost followers and had a big order canceled. Said the owner: "My heart is heavy.... I never thought a post that literally said more love less hate would result in this kind of backlash to a very small business that is struggling to stay afloat and spread a little cheer through baked goods." That message, shared more than 2,000 times, brought widespread support and a line of people that formed to buy out all its baked goods the next day.
