During the Covid-19 lockdown, artist Anna Chan started passing the time by creating animal sculptures from seashells, rocks and other materials from the beach. With the help of her 10-year-old daughter, Chan uses clay and sand to bind the materials together, creating beautiful detailed sculptures. The seashells are like little jewels to me, each one a mosaic piece finding its place in the big picture, she said.
