Another Seattle-area real estate developer donated a house for Afghan families to stay in when they arrive in the area; a large group of volunteers renovated it and stocked it with food, clothing and household supplies. And an AirBnB owner who learned that his property would be rented to house an Afghan refugee family solicited donations from family and friends; the house is now stocked with supplies and gift cards that will allow the family to shop for their own items. All of these individuals share in the desire to make the new refugees feel welcome and supported in their new homes.
