Private developer Greystar will partner with the city’s housing authority to build at least 560 housing units, expand the park, add retail space that meets community needs, and pay off the $10.8 million debt the city incurred to buy the lot in 2008. The city's Right to Stay and Right to Return policies apply to the development. The city originally had planned to build a.police station and court building on the lot.
