Winnie, a special needs dog, arrived at Charlotte's Freedom Farm in Ontario, Canada over the summer. The little dog didn't develop properly in the womb and has underdeveloped front legs and an unformed sternum that doesn't connect to his ribs. So, he needs help getting around, but he's adapted and plays just like any other puppy, especially with his piglet buddy Wilma. When playing with bigger animals was dangerous for Winnie, Wilma was his inside playmate. Wilma is bigger now and lives outside full-time now, but they two still see each other often and they still wrestle and roll around together.
