In Williston, Vt., public schools were shut down for a deep cleaning after it came to light that a staff member might have been exposed to the virus. On Monday morning, mother of four Brooke Thomas spotted a discussion thread about the closure in a Facebook group for parents in the school community. She commented that it was important to thank the janitors and facility staff and the whole community rallied to do so.
