Michigan Wolverines college football coach Jim Harbaugh secured a $500,000 bonus after claiming the Big Ten East title this year. Yet out of goodwill, he decided to donate his bonus pay to the employees of the athletic department, who took a pay cut of up to 10% during the start of the pandemic. "Whether it's folks that work here in football or at the ticket department or baseball coaches... really just our family contribution to those that have had some financial strain through the last 18 months," said Harbaugh. The Wolverines coach also cut to his salary nearly in half, earning $4 million annually for the next four years.
