“I feel like I’m almost at the end of a marathon,” says Angela Turbeville, who, along with her husband Elliott, had just adopted six foster children into their family, making a total of nine children in the Turbeville household. They are still working on adopting their seventh foster child. The adopted children express their gratitude for their new parents: “We’ve been through a lot of stuff that shouldn’t have happened,” one of the siblings said. “Our parents should have taken care of us. But now, we have these parents that actually take care of us and feed us every day.”
