Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) at just 3-weeks-old, Craig Jones, now 36, from Dawlish, a town in England, is raising funds for 3 charities by running a mile every day in 2022 around Dawlish Lawn. No easy task since his CF brings on challenges such as sticky mucus in the lungs, digestive issues and liver blockages. He's running for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, due to the loss of his aunt Judith from brain cancer and South Western Ambulance Service Charity, honoring the hard work of his fellow NHS workers, including his wife Robyn, a paramedic. With a few of weeks running under his belt, Craig said his body is now starting to get used to the daily challenges, and he will be completing them "every single day without fail". He's documenting his experiences on Instagram. "If anyone wants to donate, fantastic. If anyone wants to join in, even better," he said.
