A woman was walking her dog, Poppy, along Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport, England when the black cockapoo suddenly started barking nonstop. In the water was a middle-aged man, who had fallen from his small boat, and was clinging to a small post. The strong tides had swept him away about 300 meters from his boat. The woman immediately dialed 999, and the coastguard quickly came to help. Thanks to Poppy's quick instincts, the man was successfully rescued and treated for hypothermia.
