Shannon Onge was caught in a white-out blizzard, stranded out on Saskatchewan Road in Canada. The wind was fierce. She could barely make out a sign in the distance that read "Bouvier Lane." After calling 911 and being told to wait the storm out overnight in her vehicle, she called out to Facebook for help. Through a stroke of good fortune, an 80-year-old man named Andre Bouvier Sr. who lived nearby donned thick clothing and a LED flashlight, making his way to where she was. About a half a kilometer later, he found Onge and six others and quickly brought them back to his residence. He gave them warm blankets and cheerful company before seeing them off the next morning. "Everybody would have done the same thing," said Bouvier. "You don't think about it, you just do it."
