Airbnb recently announced it will coordinate lodging in its network to offer short-term stays for up to 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine. The stays are free and will be funded by Airbnb. The company says they will work closely with government leaders to support the specific needs within each country. But the company also needs help on the ground. CEO Brian Chesky said, “The greatest need we have is for more people who can offer their homes in nearby countries, including Poland, Germany, Hungary and Romania.”
