Toronto unveiled its first Reconciliation Action Plan, listing 28 targets to restore truth, justice and prosperity to Indigenous people. The plan consists of five themes: restore truth, right relations, share power, make financial reparations, and initiate actions for justice and the Indigenous Affairs Office. Developed over three years with input FROM First Nations, Inuit, and Mtis community `member`s, organizations, elders, knowledge carriers, youth, and Indigenous employees and city allies, the plan will be a living document that will evolve, says Mayor John Tory.
