Five years ago, Hannah Barrett broke both legs while she was visiting Australia with a friend. Her friend Savannah was thrown from the car crash on impact, and died, at age 26. It is in her friend's memory that Hannah, who was told she would not be able to run again, is preparing to run the Cardiff Half Marathon. "I don't like being told I can't do something," said Hannah, who was diagnosed with diabetes at 18. "If I can live with type 1 (diabetes), do six insulin injections a day... recovering from this, and still do this, anybody can."
