The "girl in the red coat" in the Oscar-winning film, Schindler's List, is now helping Ukrainian refugees on the Polish border. Oliwia Dbrowska was three when she appeared in the 1993 Oscar-winning epic. Now 32, she is leading a group of volunteers to aid refugees as they arrive in Krocienk. "I will do everything I can, I will never forget these people, those faces, those eyes, I will never forget what I've seen," she says. It was many years before Dbrowska, now a copywriter in Krakw, realized the film's importance. Director Steven Spielberg captured the story of how over 1,200 Jews were saved from Nazi death camps in black and white film. Her red coat is the only color, representing the innocence of a community being destroyed.
