A dozen first graders in Alabama managed to keep their cool when their teacher had an unexpected seizure from having unknowingly contracted Covid-19. Mrs. Hodges was shaking and we thought she was just joking, said six-year-old Dalton Widener. Then she fell out of her chair and hit her head. Before she lost consciousness, Hodges asked the kids to go for help. Two children stayed with her while the rest split up to cover more ground in the hallways. When Hodges eventually awakened, she was surrounded by teachers and medical personnel. She had no idea she had Covid-19, nor had she ever had a seizure before. She recovered after a few days, knowing that had she been at home by herself, she may not have been so fortunate.
