Due to the energy crisis from the war in Ukraine, several farms in Kent, England started installing transparent solar panels on the sides of greenhouses. The government funded the project, which lead researcher Dr. Elinor Thompson describes as a "no-brainer." With this initiative, farms can sustainably produce their own energy instead of relying on greenhouse gases.
