LanDforms, a dance performance company in Seattle, has found a new and exciting way to entertain people during this period of physical distancing. Audience members follow a digital map, a soundtrack and clues to navigate the city in their cars, with the goal of discovering surprising performances by dancers who perform in their front yards, on their porches, in sun rooms and other improvised "stages." The performances happen within a meticulously monitored, 5-hour-long scavenger hunt designed to express the shared loneliness everyone is experiencing. Creativity and innovation is clearly blooming, but in different forms. Who would have imagined?
