RanMarine, a Dutch company, recently deployed aquatic drones called "WasteSharks" that clean up litter in bodies of water. With a design inspired by the whale shark, each drone can hold up 160 liters of trash, algae, and other flotsam near the shore with pontoons to trap the debris.
