While transitioning from relying on traditional fossil fuels to clean energy sources is ideal, many developing countries can't afford to invest in renewable energy. However, both private and public sectors have invested hundreds of billions of dollars in the past couple of years to help this shift. Some examples of countries that have increased their use of sustainable energies include Morocco, which now relies on renewable sources for 40% of its energy capacity, and India, which uses technologies such as solar panels to speed up its transition away from fossil fuels.
