Iowa couple Amy Duncan and Mark Davitt have been working at the local newspaper, the Record-Herald, for over fifty years each. Earlier this year, they bought the newspaper. And last Tuesday, they distributed their first issue. Duncan and Davitt stress how important it is for community papers to be run by local owners: "We want people to know what's happening in their town and be able to make decisions about what they like and what they don't like."
