While flying with his father-in-law over the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, US, Pilot Vincent Fraser was caught by surprise when the plane's only engine suddenly failed. Fraser, who just got his pilot's license last October and has clocked under 100 hours in the air, turned to his father-in-law and apologized for putting him in this position, and told him he loved him. Together, they scouted the best possible place to land, and Fraser was miraculously able to dodge power lines and traffic to land on a highway without hitting a single vehicle.
