Glen Wagner, owner of Wagner's Restaurant, will offer free meals on Christmas Day. No questions asked. Glen and his wife have owned the restaurant for the last 23 years and have had to overcome some serious challenges. "The COVID-19 pandemic was challenging for the entire industry," said Glenn Wagner. Glen was also diagnosed with AML, an aggressive form of cancer in which the bone marrow makes a large number of abnormal blood cells. AML is known to keep coming back. He has received a lot of support from his wife, his customer, and his neighbors, who often help out with things around the restaurant. Now he is hoping to give back by opening his restaurant on Christmas Day.

The menu is a full buffet featuring everything from turkey and stuffing to pot roast and mashed potatoes. The event is free and open to anyone. "If you are alone, if you've lost a loved one, or you have nowhere to go, come sit and eat with us," said Wagner. "If you are struggling financially, if your refrigerator is empty, come see us." The event is supported by the community and will be staffed by volunteers. "I was blessed by God. Now I'm going to bless others. And hopefully, this will continue to multiply. That's what we need, a lot more caring in this world."
