After the Long Newnton Parish Council planted flowers next to the road to increase biodiversity, another benefit emerged: drivers slowed down when they passed the flowers. The flowers were so colorful that people couldn't help but slow down to take a closer look. Money raised through a crowdfunding campaign will be used to care for the wildflowers.
