Four Ukrainian dolphins and three sea lions have found a home in Romania at an aquarium, along with their doctors and trainers, after escaping the shelling in Ukraine. After some months of quarantine they have started to put on shows for hundred of children. "Now we have more colleagues ... Ukrainian colleagues and Ukrainian dolphin colleagues," Romanian trainer Mona Mandrescu told Reuters after a performance with hundreds of school children. The Romanian and Ukrainian dolphins have become friends despite age differences. "We want them to stay with us for as long as possible," the dolphinarium's manager Iulian Calin said. "They are hard working people and dolphins and we want them to be with us because we make a beautiful family."
