In an awe-inspiring turn of events, a random act of kindness saved the day at an Aberdeen wedding! Bride-to-be, Sharon Travers, was on her way to the altar in a vintage 1976 Triumph Stag when the car broke down. With the church just half a mile away and the clock ticking, Alan Knowles, a random passer-by, turned out to be Sharon's savior. Knowles didn't hesitate to help the damsel in distress and swiftly carried her to Cults Parish Church in his Mercedes Coupe. In dire circumstances like these, Sharon recalls how she was "very happy to be with somebody I know very well." The extraordinary incident was captured by wedding photographer Rhea McKenzie who said, "Honestly my jaw was open. My face was a picture." Talk about a wedding entrance no one will forget!
