The For Everyone Collective grew from a dream to provide healing, community, and resources to people and families impacted by incarceration. Started by Skyler Rich in 2018 as “Forgive Everyone”, it employs formerly incarcerated people and creates screen-printed apparel that speak to their experiences. The business opened its first brick and mortar store in Grand Rapids, Michigan in November 2023. It screenprints an average of 2,000 shirts per week and is staffed by a team of 11 worker-owners. “[This has] become a beautiful testing ground to show the ways that abolition, transformative justice, and community integrity can be practiced within a framework where people haven’t known each other,” says Richie Reseda, the company’s creative and political director. “We’re helping expand imaginations.”
