Two quick-thinking barbers in Connecticut are being hailed as everyday heroes after they sprinted from their shop when they saw a toddler running toward traffic. Osvaldo Lugo and Rafael Santana of LookSharp Barbershop were working on customers when they spotted the little girl running toward a busy street. They dashed out of the shop and grabbed her just a couple of feet before she reached the busy main road. Lugo said many accidents had previously taken place at the intersection. The East Hartford Police Department lauded the two barbers for their bravery. "Thanks to them, a potential tragedy was averted, and a family remains whole," the police department said.
