On June 3, 2024, six planets will align in the pre-dawn sky. In this "planet parade," Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will line up in a roughly straight line from the low eastern horizon. Observers will need to look toward the eastern horizon about 20 minutes before sunrise to spot it - although most of the planets won’t be visible to the naked eye. The alignment of six planets occurs only a few times in a decade.
