Mattel Company's American Girl dolls subsidiary is honoring real-life people on the front lines of Covid-19 with Pandemic Hero One-of-a-Kind Dolls. People submitted more than 1,000 nominees, sharing heartwarming stories of the heroes' courage during the pandemic. The line of dolls includes an EMT, a grocery store worker, a teacher, a nurse assistant and a pilot. The dolls are featured on the American Girl website with the message, "Don't let anyone hold you back because you are a girl."
