Thirty-four-year-old third grade teacher Katie Booser has her own unique way of instilling confidence and motivation in her students. The Santa Barbara, Calif., teacher has written a song that the children sing before taking tests. It is filled with affirmations about believing in yourself: "I believe in myself, I believe I can, I believe I'll try my best." For Booser, it has been a useful tool in building a positive environment for learning.
