The United States Postal Service has shared that it will add more fully electric delivery vehicles to its fleet, to its aging and polluting fleet of trucks. That means 75% of its trucks will be EVs, which is more than the 40% originally proposed. After 2026, USPS will only purchases EVs. USPS will also invest into an EV charging infrastructure, to make deliveries more efficient. Similarly, FedEx has reserved 2,500 EVs from BrightDrop, and Amazon ordered 100,000 Rivian EVs.
