A hotel in Portland is being repurposed into a temporary shelter for up to 40 people as they wait for permanent housing. There will also be 24-hour, on-site supportive services available. Residents can start moving in March 1st. The project is a partnership between Multnomah County's Joint Office of Homeless Services and the nonprofit All Good Northwest, which provides low-barrier shelter with case management. Andy Goebel, the executive director of All Good Northwest, said that residents can stay for as long as they need as long as they are working toward permanent housing.
