A California man took his toddler son for a manicure after his day care teacher said “painting your nails is only for girls.” A video shared to TikTok that has had more than four million views shows Christian Shearhod’s three-year-old son Ashton at a West Hollywood nail salon, ready for a full manicure and pedicure. At the end of the clip, he shows off bright pink manicured nails. Shearhod, a teacher in Los Angeles County, said his son has been interested in nail polish since he was 2. Since sharing the video on TikTok, more than 14,000 users posted comments, mostly in support of the dad and son.
